What is Radiesse®?
Radiesse® is an FDA-approved, completely safe, dermal filler that works to provide our clients with a wonderfully youthful look. This beneficial treatment fills and corrects smile lines, nasolabial folds and wrinkles that form around the mouth and nose. Radiesse® is compiled of extraordinary, calcium-based microspheres, which are enclosed within an organic gel. The compound is injected into the skin using an effortless, secure, and minimally invasive procedure.
How Does Radiesse Work?
Radiesse® uses small, calcium-based microspheres to work below the skin's surface, and act as a foundation to assist and encourage your own collagen to grow. When enough of your own collagen is produced, the calcium-based microspheres eventually disintegrate, and are safely absorbed by your body. The advantage of Radiesse® is two-fold. Not only does it temporarily fill in facial folds and wrinkles, it also works with your own body to help replenish your skin's foundation, giving you a more youthful look, without the dangers and risks associated with permanent implants.
The Radiesse® Advantage:
The Radiesse® anti-aging augmentation product has been FDA approved. It safely corrects moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles, including nasolabial folds. Radiesse® lasts longer than any of its counterparts, and it assists in helping your skin to make its own new collagen. With Radiesse®, you'll see immediate results, and continue to show progress in returning your skin back to its former, more youthful self. The procedure itself is very brief, and requires fewer injection sessions than its competitors.
How Soon Can I Expect Results and How Long Do They Last?
After having a single Radiesse® augmentation procedure, our clients can see immediate results. Unlike any of the other leading fillers, Radiesse® lasts a year or longer for most patients, making this product more efficient and cost-effective. Client results can vary using Radiesse®, so it is recommended that a thorough discussion and treatment plan be coordinated with your doctor.
Is Radiesse® Safe?
Hundreds of thousands of patients have experienced extraordinary results with the Radiesse® augmentation procedure. Further, over 4,000 physicians worldwide have been professionally trained to administer Radiesse® treatments. Years of clinical studies and independent research have proven that Radiesse® is completely safe and effective.
How Is a Radiesse® Treatment Performed?
Radiesse® is injected subcutaneously, using an efficient, secure, and virtually painless procedure. The Radiesse® injections are typically administered in a doctor’s office, with the aid of a local anesthetic. Radiesse® treatments are so effortless, there is little or no down-time associated with the procedure. Many patients feel completely well enough to return to their normal daily activities shortly after their treatment.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
Because Radiesse® is formulated to last longer than the other leading fillers, it is not out of the ordinary for patients to be satisfied with their results after just one session. However, to ensure your satisfaction, some physicians may wish to schedule a subsequent appointment, at which point a second treatment may be advised.
Are There Any Side Effects?
As with any injection procedure, there can be typical reactions, such as minor irritation or itching, or swelling at the injection site. Some bruising or skin tenderness may also occur. If any of these conditions are present after a treatment, they tend to resolve on their own after a short period of time.
Is Radiesse Permanent?
Although a Radiesse® treatment is long-lasting, the results are not permanent. Since the calcium-based microspheres gradually break down and absorb into your body, the effects of the procedure do not last. On a positive note, you will have none of the risks typically associated with a permanent implant.
How Much Does It Cost?
Since each client's Radiesse® treatment plan is individualized, the cost for the procedure can vary. Generally speaking, the total cost of Radiesse® is comparable to similar anti-aging augmentation procedures. But, because Radiesse® lasts longer than its leading counterparts, you'll wind up saving both time and money. If Radiesse® treatments are right for you, please consult your physician to begin discussing your anti-aging treatment plan.
